About us

We devise and deploy communications strategies that navigate uncertainty and shape narratives

Aporia Strategy is a partnership-driven strategic communications consultancy.

We help clients identify and tackle the challenges that matter and achieve meaningful outcomes that drive change. We are problem solvers, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to strategy development, issues management and advocacy. We are founded on a model that offers clients access to independent thought, subject matter expertise and outstanding delivery.

We have entered a moment of aporia

A moment of accelerating complexity. A moment marked by geopolitical realignment, AI disruption, social and cultural polarisation, the climate crisis and expanding inequality. A moment when leaders and organisations are faced with new, complex challenges that require a rethinking of the status quo and operating norms.

Derived from the work of theorist Jacques Derrida, the concept of aporia represents a state of impasse - a point in a conversation, debate, or system of thought where established logic and language fall short. It is a moment when familiar paths forward collapse and the terms we rely on to make meaning no longer suffice.

While unsettling, this rupture does not need to signify a finality. It is an opportunity to rethink, to reframe and to reshape the path ahead from a new perspective.
